Clara H. Cimino
        Clara H. Cimino, 91, of Silver Creek died Tuesday
(Nov. 15, 2011) at the Lake Shore Nursing Home in Irving,
NY.
 She was born June 4, 1920 in Silver Creek, the daughter
of the late Frank and Anna (Depasquale) Cimino.
       A lifelong area resident, Clara retired as an inspector for
the former Forbes & Wagner Co. in Silver Creek.
 She was a
member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church and the
Samuel J. Cimino VFW Post 6472 Ladies Auxiliary, both in
Silver Creek. The
VFW is named after her brother.
       Clara loved to work; her routine was to go to Forbes &
Wagner all day, then home to take care of her parents. She
enjoyed gardening, especially flowers.
       In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a
brother, Samuel J. Cimino, who was on the USS Robert Gray
when it was lost in the North
Atlantic during WWII.
       Prayers will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at 9:30
a.m. from the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel in Silver Creek,
followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady
of Mt. Carmel Church in Silver Creek.
Friends will be received
today from 4-7 p.m.
