Cynthia L. Fox
Cynthia L. Fox, 73, of Sheridan, N.Y., died Monday (Oct.
31, 2011) at her residence. She was born March 27, 1938 in
Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of the late Edwin R. and Lucille
(O'Keefe) Richardson.
Cindy worked in the cafeteria of the Silver Creek High
School and also for Forbes & Wagner, Silver Creek. She
loved the outdoors; fishing and bird watching were some of her
interests. Camping at Lake Waldena in Florida was high on her
list of things to do. She really enjoyed being an avid Buffalo
Bills fan.
Surviving are three daughters, Debra J. Fox of Lake
Havasu, Ariz., Linda S. Fox of Silver Creek and Gena L.
(Dennis) Corsaro of Silver Creek; one brother, Robert
(Barbara) Richardson of Lakeview, N.Y.; eight grandchildren,
Jessie Botkin, Shea Rayhn, Eamon Rayhn, Matthew Hillman,
Aaron Green, Kristin, Kayla and Karly Corsaro; and six great
grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband of 49 years, Franklin E. "Gene" Fox; and a sister,
Roxanne Woodworth.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at 3:00
p.m. from the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, Silver Creek. The
family will be present at the funeral chapel from 2:00 p.m. until
the time of services at 3 p.m. Rev. Molly T. Golando of the
Sheridan Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the
Glenwood Cemetery, Silver Creek. The family suggests
memorial contributions to the Roswell Cancer Center, SPCA or
the Lakeshore Humane Society.
