Alvera Mae Vera Leckliter
      Alvera Mae Vera Leckliter, 81, of Silver Creek died
Saturday (Oct. 22, 2011) at her residence.
 She was born
May 7, 1930 in Cherry Run, Pa., the daughter of the late
James and Mary (Hawk) Thompson.
       Vera graduated from Rimersburg High School in
Rimersburg, Pa. After graduation, she moved to Erie, Pa.
She worked at the Boston Diner on Peach Street where she
met her husband, Willard. They relocated to Fredonia, NY in
1956 and then to Silver Creek in 1973. She was employed
at the Fredonia Seed Company until her retirement in 1992.
       Vera is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, Willard Leckliter; two brothers, Eugene and Fred
Thompson; and three sisters, Leona Courson, Ellen
Callander and Viola Callander.
       Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26,
2011 at 2 p.m. from the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, Silver
Creek.
 The family will be present at the funeral chapel from
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
